The 5th Annual MPAK Gala Held to Raise Funds for Orphans and Vulnerable Children of North Korean Escapee Women
English Bible Camp Conducted for Children in Korea
July 24 - August 1, 2025
20 volunteers from MPAK traveled to Korea to conduct English Bible Camps (EBC) for the adopted children of MPAK-Korea, and for the children at two orphanages in the city of Gwang-ju.
The children were taught to sing praises in English, and the Gospel messages in combined English and Korean. Children were divided into small groups to enjoy crafts and games and other fun activities. On the last day, the children were treated to a BBQ lunch and water sports with slides.
In the hot and humid days reaching the temperature of 97F degrees, they really appreciated the water sports to cool down.
Kids had so much fun and all the orphanage staff members were very appreciative of our program.
Half of our volunteers were adoptees themselves. And they served the children with all the love and compassion they had. They thought they were giving something special to the children, but it was children that blessed the volunteers even more.
