The 2nd Annual MPAK 'ICAN' Vision Trip for Orphans

February 3-13, 2026

MPAK hosted nine students from five different orphanages in Korea. They were accompanied by five adult leaders from their respective orphanages.

These students were selected from 80 students that have excelled in their academic studies that are being supported with MPAK's one-on-one mentor/tutor program called 'ICAN', as in 'I Can Also Do It'.

This is our 2nd year of such tour project to provide the students to have a vision that they too can succeed in anything they put their minds to. The vision trip included visiting USC and UCLA, the Getty Museum, Disneyland, the Universal Studio, LA and Hollywood tours, Griffith Observatory, Science and natural history museum, worship at the Grace Korean Church, and four days and three nights of visiting the western US by visiting the canyon lands such as the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Bryce and Zion canyons, and perhas the highlight would be to visit the Disneyland.

The purpose of the vision trip was to help the students to observe and experience the world beyond their own and provide an opportunity to see and experience the wonders that they would otherwise not have if it wasn't for all the supporters rooting for them through MPAK.

Hopefully the students will go back to Korea and take something with them, and their experiences will motivate other students to work hard in their academic studies to join the future vision tour.
