The 5th Annual MPAK Gala Held to Raise Funds for Orphans and Vulnerable Children of North Korean Escapee Women
2025 MPAK Retreat was held at the Great Wolf Lodge Anaheim
On June 20-21, 2025, MPAK held a retreat at the Great Wolf Lodge in Anaheim, California.
The event was well attended, and more families would have joined had there been more funds available.
We are grateful for the families that have come together and joined the retreat to have family bonding time through fun activities and a a great learning environment provided to the parents. A valuable seminar was given to the parents on learning about trauma in the lives of children, and how to cope with such challenges. We are grateful to Dr. Ernelyn Navaro and Prof. Estee Song for conducting the valuable seminars for the parents. The kids participated in singing, craft session, and a Bible lesson. All the families enjoyed being together to network and to have fun with the kids.
A great fun retreat was held for the MPAK adoptive families to bond and strengthen the families.
