MPAK-USA families met to fellowship together, and to celebrate joy in adoption. Our special guest speaker was Rev. Kim, Hong Deok, whose message inspired all of us. The Rev. Kim wrote a book titled "Adam King, Pitch the Ball of Hope". This book has been selling widely in Korea as well as in the Korean communities in the US. The book is about Bob and Donna King's family that have adopted 11 children, including four children from Korea. Adam King has titanium legs and was invited by the first lady of Korea to throw the opening pitch at the Korean professional baseball season opener.
Our next meeting is on Saturday, December 8, 2001 at Joon and Hyon Dokko's Place. This will be a great Christmas gathering. More announcement to follow.
